This Hotel Schaluinenhoeve privacy statement tells you what information we collect from you, who can view it and what purpose it serves.
Purpose data
To place a booking, we require some contact and personal information from you. This is minimally necessary to keep your booking on track. In addition, we need contact information when something unexpected happens that we need to notify you of. If you make a contact request through our contact form, we logically need your contact information. We also use your name and e-mail address for the digital newsletter. You can give digital or verbal consent for this. Depending on which service you purchase from us, we may ask for the following information: Name information, company information, e-mail address, phone number, gender, IBAN, IP address and browser information.
Recipients
Only authorized employees of Schaluinenhoeve may view certain information about you. We also work with some other parties to do our work well. Stardekk provides our booking software. Email addresses for the newsletter are stored in MailChimp, a tool for creating and sending newsletters. Through Google Analytics, we collect data through the website to improve our website, although this is done anonymously. In addition, our website is hosted by Blocc. We do not provide personal data to third parties unless necessary to report crimes.
Storage period
Your data will be kept for a maximum of 10 years. We keep this information in case you want to place another booking in the future. Your email address in MailChimp will be deleted as soon as you indicate that you no longer wish to receive newsletters.
Security
We take measures to ensure that your data does not fall into the wrong hands. Only those authorized to do so have access to your data. The systems we use include password protection and, where possible, two-step verification.
Your rights
You have the right to request inspection, correction and/or deletion of your personal data. Even if you choose not to receive communications at a later time, that’s no problem. For example, you can “opt-out” of our newsletter at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the newsletter, or by letting us know that you no longer wish to receive communications. In that case, we will remove your contact information from our database. Do you have a complaint? Then you have the right to submit them to the Personal Data Authority.
